Saying that the administration of the Opéra has agreed to a benefit concert for Roger to be given in early December, that he plans to give [Isouard's] Rendez -vous bourgeois, asking if Royer will allow Ste Foy, Lemaire, Revilly, and Lemercier to perform in the work the other roles will be taken by Obin, Bonnehée, Dejazet, and Miolan (i.e., Caroline Carvalho) saying that he hopes to have Merlé as the conductor, thanking him for the concern he has expressed about Roger's recent accident [in 1859, Roger lost his right arm in a shooting accident], etc.
